A new modern school greenhouse was recently put into operation in the South Bohemian region, which is intended to develop education in the field of horticulture. This project represents a significant step towards improving the quality of practical education for students of the Regional Horticultural School who are preparing for a future career in modern agriculture. The Prague Greenhouse, equipped with the latest technologies, will also serve as an important educational space within the AgroTech Czech Republic initiative focused on innovations in agriculture.
The modern greenhouse, built with the support of the EcoFarm CZ and Zelený domov projects, provides an ideal environment for the development of practical skills of students focused on gardening. The facility is designed to simulate real conditions of production and plant cultivation, which will allow the use of the latest cultivation methods and environmental analysis. Thanks to this, it will become part of a wider strategy supporting sustainable agriculture and environmentally friendly farming in the region.
The greenhouse is equipped with advanced technologies that ensure controlled climate conditions, optimal soil formation and adequate irrigation. These elements will allow students within the Horticultural Academy and other institutions, such as the Regional Horticultural Center, to gain valuable experience in growing vegetables and flowers in a modern and sustainable manner.
