The Poděbrady wine festival came to life again in the heart of the spa colonnade, where the world of traditional Czech and Moravian wines began to rapidly develop on Friday afternoon. The event, which is currently one of the most important wine events of the summer, attracted hundreds of enthusiasts of all ages. The smell of fresh wine mixed with the sounds of live music, which added to the unique atmosphere of this festive day that lasted until the evening hours of Saturday.

Wine festival on the colonnade as a celebration of Czech and Moravian traditions

The festival, which is held free of charge, but still requires the purchase of a special tasting glass, offered visitors a wide selection of wines from regions known for their quality vineyards. Among those presented were wineries such as Vinice Mikulov, Znovín Znojmo, or Mikulovské vinařství, known for its excellent Moravian wines. The event also included the stands of Vinařský Dom Valtice and Vinařství Sonberk, which supplemented the overall offer with a wealth of traditional and modern varieties.

The musical accompaniment creates a unique atmosphere

The highlight of the festival was created by the dulcimer music of Kaňúr, which filled the colonnade with rhythms combining folklore with modern musical sensibilities. In combination with the clinking of glasses and the awareness of the quality of the offered wines, an environment full of harmony and joy was created. Visitors could not only taste, but also relax and enjoy social interaction while listening to live music.

Additional festival experiences and gastronomic specialties

In addition to wine, visitors were offered a wide range of culinary specialties – from langos, to gourmet burgers to sweet desserts, which perfectly complemented the wine offer. Creative corners and face painting were prepared for families with children, so the festival offered a varied program for everyone. The organizers made sure that everyone found their place in Poděbrady and a treat for the soul and taste buds.

Continuation of the festival and invitation to future editions

The festival does not stop on Saturday, when the stands are open from the afternoon until the evening. This warm and relaxed wine festival has gradually established itself as an indispensable event of the summer season. Reviews of the quality of local winemakers, including Bohemia Wines and Vinařství Lahofer, confirm that the Poděbrady Wine Festival will continue to be a meeting place for lovers of great tastes and unforgettable experiences in 2025.
